Hello lovelies… Spring is in full force here in the northern hemisphere, the world is bright and green and the days are getting longer so you can spend more time soaking up the sun!  For many people, it also means spending a lot more time being active instead of sitting behind the computer.. A time to rejuvenate and re-prioritize is never a bad thing.  We all need a little break from once in a while.  The Liaison Collaborative and the lead lady in charge, Katya Valeska is no exception.  The event is running it’s last round currently before taking a little hiatus for the summer.  But we’ve been assured, it will be back in full swing in a few months!  So for now, come enjoy this month’s offerings with a very male-friendly and focused theme of “The Gentleman’s Club”.  Ladies, don’t let the theme scare you, there are still plenty of unisex goodies as well as masculine inspired female fashions.  This round just opened May 15th, and will continue to run until June 10th.  Hope to see you there!

{ Espresso My Love }

The word Fall or Autumn usually conjures up all sorts of wonderful imagery of warm inviting colors and falling leaves blowing across a winding road in a cozy wooded valley; the smell of burning wood as fires are stoked and chimneys start smoking; wooley sweaters, comfy jeans, and boots to combat the new briskness in the air; the little chill on our noses that can be easily remedied by bring a nice warm cuppa something up to our lips.  Granted, my love of coffee goes beyond just one season, but this time of year is certainly special… in a word, PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE.  Ok so that’s three words.  Three very important words that always make me smile and my belly warm.  Anyone that knows me well, has probably figured out that I’m quite the pumpkin lover.  I tend to salivate over anything with pumpkin in it… breads, cookies, muffins, pies, pasta, soups, ice cream even.  And of course… COFFEEEEE!  So when {What Next} introduced this new Cocoa-on-the-Go Cart that actually dispensed my favorite autumnal drink?!?!.. you can imagine the squeeing that went on behind my closed office door.  I was one happy girl.

I must also mention that in addition to great coffee, I am also excited to be slipping into my jeans and sweaters finally, and ColdLogic has just released some wonderful fall basics to mix-n-match.  I paired my skinny jeans with the adorable new booties from Fri.day with the optional sock tops.  Finally ones that I can wear with my mesh jeans!  This is only the first of a few outfits I will show off to you.

Many thanks to Ms. Harlow Heslop‘s beautiful landscaping of “The Grounds” where I took this pic, home to the Pixel Bean Coffeehouse.  If you’ve never been, go check it out, as it’s truly one of my favorite places for hanging out, relaxing, and meeting new people.  There are periodic music events going on and always tons of fun.  It very much reminds me of the type of coffeehouses I used to frequent back in my college days and listen to some live bands such as the one I posted below.

Playing catch up as usual… I have been juggling too many projects at once to get things out as timely as I would’ve liked to.  I keep thinking it will get easier, but maybe I should just stop being so hard on myself.  The work will always be there.  I just have to accept that it’s ok that I’m not perfect all the time. I know, I can hear the audible gasp, “What??! Trin’s not perfect?”  I’m afraid to tell you folks, the truth is out. 😛

I found this adorable outfit at Summerfest a couple weeks ago, paired it with some cute mary janes, hair and teddybear backpack I found at Collabor88 (June).  Then enter in the Belleza FLF skin from last week that was a perfect match.  But it was oOo Studios poses “Katrina” for FLF today that really spurred me on to get it blogged finally.  The poses have a youthful, care-free feel about them, making this look the ideal choice for them.

The scene featuring Barneworth Anubis’s new Boardwalk building kit is from the last round of the Garden that ended this past week, and as much as I wanted to buy everything in the place (cuz omgggg the cuteness!), I had no time to build myself a beach this past month.  It’s on my (ever-growing) to-do list.  But no worries, even though I’m blogging all these events that have since ended, I’ll make sure you know where to find all these great items at the end of this post.
