Sometimes it’s exhausting being the good girl all the time.  I work hard and rarely take time to go out and have fun and so sometimes with a little coersion (and alcohol) I can be persuaded to let loose and have some fun.  Although in the wrong company that can get me into trouble…this particular night… a LOT of trouble.  It was just a little dance!  I thought it was an open stage honestly.  I mean… I can move just as good as the other girls up there.  And it’s not like I got so tipsy my top came off… (at least I don’t think it did).

This is my first offense!  I think the cops should’ve gone easier on me.  I probably would’ve gotten off with a warning if that girl hadn’t called me a “hookah”.  I mean, wow… How rude!  I might’ve shoved her…but it’s not my fault she can’t keep balanced in her stripper heels.  Besides… the boys seated off stage caught her, she didn’t even get hurt.  It was really all a misunderstanding.  I’m normally a good girl!    Really I am!

By the way… um… you wouldn’t mind posting bail for me would ya?

{ As the last leaves fall }

It still amazes me every year how fast October and November fly by, they are some of my busiest months of the year…. I love the fall season so much and it’s a bit disheartening to blink and see that it’s already gone.  People are already talking about Christmas, and decorating, and I’m already hyperventilating at the thought of the dozens of cookies that will be baked this December.  For those of you that know me on Plurk, you shall be tantalized with my decadent treats (i.e. prepare for the food porn), so don’t you worry.  But before I am forced into getting merry and bright, I’m going to take one last look around at this beautiful autumn season and enjoy it.  Thankfully in Virginia, where I’m from, the cooler temps have only just begun to set in and I can get away without a jacket most days.  

The outfit I’m showing off for you today is really a reflection of something I would wear in real life; the patterns, colors and textures are comfortable and still very stylish, classy and feminine.  The knit belted vest and coordinating wool mini are from Gizza new for the fall/winter season and come in a variety of other tartan patterns and colors.  And when I came across these gorgeous high boots from Intrepid for the Shoetopia Fair, they were perfect to complete the sophisticated look I was going for.  I kind of love the high boot look especially when combined with a shorter skirt or dress.  Now, off to do more shopping..
